On the Phrase: I’m Bored

My mom used to pull me up off the couch when I was a bored kid. We weren’t allowed to say the words “I’m bored” in the Riley house. Well, mom is not here and it’s many years into adulthood and I can now express it as much as I want so: “I’m bored.” Let me explain:

My website is more or less an extension of my life. If it happens to me or us (The Rileys) you’ll find it on my blog. It’s also a money-making venture for me as well as a place to share my songs. My blog has been down since the beginning of the week and it has been tough. It’s making me realize how much time I spent on it. In a way, perhaps this time off is good in that way. It is showing me perhaps being bored isn’t such a bad thing. Am I a busybody blogger? Is less more?

Am I even capable of not blogging and just being bored?
