I began to look into Buddhism probably around 2011 or 2012 I am became interested. My life was filled with too much anxiety. And church was just spouting things like anti-lgbtq right and left and LGBTQ and I saw how it was hurting my students at the time and I really saw how it was hurting older students when I taught college. My religion made my anxiety increase, and Christianity has done this to me throughout my life. Buddhism made me a better Christian. I began to realize that the weirdness that I saw in other religions was actually pale in comparison to the weirdness in my own.
