Lord, give me the inward advice I need to accept my brothers and sisters exactly as they are.

Acceptance (meditation), prayer, 2 different words.

Dear Brethren, elders, and children in Christ old enough with ears to hear,

Let me take YOU to church brethren, elders, and children with ears to hear.

This is a letter I will never send. There’s a lot to unpack here.

Please don’t say you’ll pray for me. I’d really appreciate it. If you want my advice, which everybody loves advice, especially careful, scripture quoting advice, I have no advice for you. I have the kind of unconditional love for you in the form of feeling, devotion, and commitment, no matter what you do or say. Instead, I prefer you parrot back to me in wisdom, in those times you are tempted to “pray for me,” simply this statement which is the basis of any 12 step garden variety man made paradigmatic invented and concocted structure like the ones you quickly alluded to but never followed up on in your text:

Lord, give me the inward advice I need to accept my brothers and sisters exactly as they are.

If you read John 13:34 to read “Damien is breaking the commandment of “Love one another” by saying YOU DO NOT HAVE FRIENDS on a podcast episode, in love for all my brethren, you are reading it for advice to me NOT inward help from God which on this topic might be recommendable. Once hard facts are accepted, you can really begin spiritual growth. The hardest fact one can accept is that you don’t run the cosmos, God does. Better way to say it? God IS, and I AM. Human language, Art, is one perspective, one prism.

By attempting to course-correct me, you are missing the point. Again don’t tell me u will pray for me, pray this: “Lord, give me the inward advice I need to accept [DAme] exactly as [he is].”

You do make good points I will add., that’s the only reason I respond.

As backing, u better not get angry because you’re murdering, by your own logic you attribute to Jesus stating in the book of John.

Live in the moment, that’s my only advice. The Bible is ONE prism of reality, a truly beautiful one, of THAT WHICH IS. I am a Christian always, know it. But I have opened to other prisms and paradigms, like Buddhism or the Consciousness movement, as I PRACTICE ACCEPTANCE or things AS THEY ARE. This is called meditation, not prayer. Both are defined differently.

Prayer seeks to change the way things are. Mexitation (as I call it) seeks to feel acceptance for reality as it is. I meditate and pray but I meditate as a practice of communing in the presence of God who cannot be swayed or changed, ever.

Sorry it’s 2:48am. Gotta get back. In our relationship please don’t say you’ll pray for me. My walk with God is 247 365, always. What I crave from you is this as a response, bear in mind I’m not your Pastor, or GURU, I’m just a brother, maybe a friend I guess in English slang context but your response hit me as hurtful and dismissive but it’s ok. I feel like if I say my peace when someone who claims to love me is WRONG, it doesn’t fester. So I’m saying it in a letter I will never send. It’s called journaling. So it’s flown through and away from me now. I felt it now I forgive it. I love you.

If you are reading the scripture for advice to give to others, you’re reading it wrong.

Judgement makes another person wrong.

I love you, JUST AS YOU ARE.

Your brother in Christ,

Dame
